A device for driving staples used to fasten wooden members of bridge structures, characterized in that the cylinder (1) has a C-shaped bow (2) whose arm (3) opposite to the piston rod (4) has at its end spikes (5) with their tips turned inwards the bow (2), and on the arm (6) of the bow (2) there are a clamping mechanism and a mechanism for guiding the staple, whereas the cylinder (1) is fed from a hydraulic feeder (7) via a high-pressure flexible duct (8).<IMAGE>
