The ceiling frame comprises a supporting grid (1) of lengthwise and transverse rails (2,3), coupled where they cross to cruciform components (4) for fixing to the roof, while ceiling sections (6) are accommodated in the grid openings (5). Along each side of the rails are channel-section portions (7) protruding downwards, one flange (7a) of each being fixed to the side of the rail. The distance between the two flanges is such that the partitions (8) can be inserted from below and supported in the lateral direction.
