<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a sorter with a stapler device which has an ease of operation to take out a sheet, the safety of a stapler device, an ensurance about the prevention of a sheet to be transported into a tray at high speed from being thrown out of a bin and being transported improperly and the subsequent storage of the sheet in the tray, and further, has a minimized overall height of the sorter which contributes to the accommodation of a specified number of sheets in the tray by improving the arrangement and shape of a non-sorting tray. CONSTITUTION:A non-sorting tray 49 is so provided above the uppermost bin 41 that the tray also serves as a safety cover which covers the tops of a matching device 50 and a sheet holding device, & the tray being close to the devices. The non-sorting tray is designed so that it can accommodate a specified number of sheets and it is lower in height than the top of an enclosure for a main sorter system. In addition, a wart-like protrusion is provided at the upper part of a reference wall surface which the sheet strikes of the non-sorting tray. Subsequently, the rear end of the introduced sheet is prevented from becoming afloat and thereby a specified number of sheets can be stored in order inside the tray.</p> |
