PURPOSE:To introduce clean cooling air to a motor-operated power unit by providing a suction duct opened to the interior of a car body without increasing the size of the car body. CONSTITUTION:In a power unit 50 for a motorcycle, an electric motor 52 and transmission mechanisms 53 and 54 are contained in cases 51, 60, and 65 mounted on car bodies 11 and 21 and between front and rear wheels 14f and 14r. Cooling air is taken in through suction ports formed in the cases 51, 60, and 65 with the aid of a fan 59 to cool the electric motor 52 and the transmission mechanisms 53 and 54. A suction duct 88 is connected to the suction port, and the suction duct 88 is extended in a position above the rear wheel 14r along the car bodies 11 and 21 and opened to the interior of the car body 21. |
