The single-axled trailer (10) is coupled (2) under the tail (1) and between the rear wheels (3) of the vehicle. It carries an accumulator (13) and switching and control equipment for the DC motor which drives the single wheel (12). Pref. the axles (9,14) of the rear wheels (3) and trailer wheel (12) respectively lie in the same vertical plane so that although the trailer is not steerable, practically no sliding occurs at the rim of its single wheel during negotiation of curves. USE/ADVANTAGE - Single-axle booster trailer for vehicle. Aesthetic appearance and manoevrability are enhanced without any need for steering of the booster axle.
