PURPOSE:To provide a thin fuel cell capable of being installed in gap space. CONSTITUTION:A plural pieces of electrode assemblies 2 are arranged in parallel on the same plane on an air supply/discharge plate 1 for supplying and discharging air, and electrode assemblies 2 are supported and fixed by the air supply/ discharge plate 1 and a spacer 3. Hereon, a fuel supply/discharge plate 4 for supplying and discharging liquid fuel is installed. Fuel supply ports 7, which communicates with a fuel chamber are scattered at several places of the bottom of the fuel supply path 5 of this fuel supply/discharge plate 4, and also discharge slits 8 communicating with the fuel chamber are made at the sides of the fuel supply/discharge plate 4. Each electrode assembly 2 is wired electrically in series. |
