PURPOSE:To enable the automatic and speedy processing of a program down load against the slave stations when the abnormality is occurred. CONSTITUTION:A master station 1 communicating with plural slave stations 2 in a remote area polls the performance of each slave station, and detects the abnormality by an abnormality detection circuit 4. A storage circuit 5 incorporates the same program as an operation program stored in a RAM 8 of the slave station 2, and transmits it from a transmission circuit 6 to the slave station 2 based on the abnormality detection information. In the slave station 2, a processing circuit 9 normally communicates with the master station 1 in the control of the storage program of the RAM 8, it reads the program of program down load from the ROM when programs are offered from the master station 1, and the program is down loaded by loaded on the designation address of the readout RAM 8.
