The invention discloses a molecule or polypeptide composition characterized by the presence in its structure of one or more peptide sequences bearing all or part of one or more T epitopes, and possibly other epitopes, particularly B epitopes, charactistic of proteins resulting from the infectious activity of P.falciparum in hepatic cells. Also disclosed is the use of these molecules in tests, and a set or kits for in vitro diagnosis of paludism from a biological sample from the individual in whom the disease is to be detected. The use of these molecules in compositions for paludism vaccines is also covered.
