PURPOSE:To simplify correction of a peripheral magnification error by providing a correction circuit in parallel with a deflection coil. CONSTITUTION:Image display by means of a Braun tube 1 is performed by deflecting an electron beam modulated by an image pickup signal in directions of X, Y by a deflection coil 2 and applying it on a fluorescent face 6 on a surface of the Braun tube 1 while a deflection method is adopted wherein every time the beam is deflected in an X-direction, it is sequentially deflected in a Y-direction, so as to display one screen. A circuit comprising a diode and a resistor is connected in parallel with the deflection coil 2, and current input to the deflection coil 2 is divided whereby current flowing into the deflection coil itself is corrected. Thus a peripheral magnification error can be easily corrected, and further the device can be easily added to a display device which does not perform correction. |
