发明名称 METHOD FOR RECOVERYING CATALYST
摘要 PURPOSE:To uniformly and properly remove the poisoning surface of a catalyst to regenerate the catalyst in a short time by allowing abrasive grains such as alumina to naturally flow down inside of the pores of a honeycomb structure for abrasion, recovering the abrasive grains and using the grains in circulation. CONSTITUTION:Plural numbers of honeycomb type catalayst 1 are assembled, bundled with a steel belt or the like, and contained in a basket 7. When abrasive grains 3 are introduced through a hopper 2 from the upper side of the basket 7 into the pores of the catalyst 1, the abrasive grains polish the surface of the catalyst 1 while continuously and naturally flowing down through the pores. The abrasive grains falling with fine dust generated by abrasion are transferred through a circulation passage 5 by air from a fan 6 and introduced to a cyclone 4 where the abrasive grains 3 are separated from the fine dust. Then the grains 3 are again sent to the hopper 2 and reused. Thus, the catalyst can easily be regenerated in a short time.
