PURPOSE:To easily accommodate the change of load by measuring the time to an applied current, and comparing it with the value of the operation characteristic, and cutting it off in the case where the time to the applied current exceeds the characteristic value. CONSTITUTION:A receiver 1 receives a control signal, and a signal decoder 2 decodes the content of the control signal, and an operation characteristic memory 3 outputs an operation characteristic value corresponding to the control signal. On the other hand, this measures the time to the applied current detected with an applied current detector 4, and compares it with the value corresponding to the applied current of the operation characteristic outputted from the operation characteristic memory 3, and in case that the time of applied current exceeds the characteristic value, the breaker 6 operates to break it. In this case, if the content of the control signal received with the receiver 1 changes, the operation value of the operation characteristic corresponding to the control signal is output from the operation characteristic memory 3, so the operation characteristic of the breaker 6 changes. Accordingly, the operation characteristic can be set optionally by the control signal, and it can accommodate change of the load. |
