摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce generation of vibratory exciting force by providing a lockup control amount changing means for changing a control amount of a lockup clutch in accordance with an output difference between cylinders, when it is in the predetermined or more, and a means for performing connection control of the lockup clutch based on a command of this changing means. CONSTITUTION:When at least one of the cylinders in a multicylinder engine (a) is in malfunctioning combustion, an output difference between the cylinders is calculated by a between-cylinder output difference arithmetic means (d) based on a cylinder output detection signal from a cylinder output detecting means (b) for detecting an output of each cylinder, in a cylinder output arithmetic means. Next, a control amount of a lockup clutch (e) is changed in accordance with the between-cylinder output difference, when it is in the predetermined or more, by a lockup control amount changing means (f), and connection control of the lockup clutch (e) is performed, based on a command of the lockup control amount changing means, by a lockup control means (g). In this way, at the time of malfunctioning combustion, excitation of a vibration phenomenon according to a fluctuation of torque is prevented.
