The invention concerns a device for continuous, steady placing of a thin coat, especially a maintenance agent, consisting of a container with this agent and jests as well as agent heating system, characterised in that the container (7) is also a body of the device, an on it a tub (19) is placed with an overflow (18) directed back to the container (7), above the tub (19) a shifting metal sheet (17) meant for maintenance, running between a system of guiding-maintaining rollers, top- (10) and bottom-wise (12), equipped with felt disks (22), and before the system of rollers (10 and 12) bearing in mind direction of shifting of the maintained sheet (17) a spraying system of top jests (6) is located supplied with the agent by means of a pump (2), and a set of rollers (10 and 12) there are adjustable scrapers for excess of the agent, to (14) and bottom (16), which excess flows down to the tub (19), whereas the set of bottom rollers (10) has felt disks (22) partly immersed in the maintenance agent in the tub (19).<IMAGE>
