PURPOSE:To prevent information from being overlooked by providing a photoelectric display unit and a shutter plate for shielding the photoelectric display unit, and moving the shutter plate to a position where the photoelectric display unit is exposed when a predetermined time comes. CONSTITUTION:A display window portion 7a spread at an angle of 120 from the center of rotation of a hand is formed on the dial 7 of a watch case 1. A liquid crystal display panel 10 is disposed in the rear portion of the inside of the display window portion 7a. A disc-shaped shutter plate 8 which rotates about the center of rotation of the hand is provided between the dial 7 and the liquid crystal display panel 10. The liquid crystal display panel 10 can not been seen before a schedule time since it is blocked by the shutter plate 8. When the scheduled time has come rotation of the shutter plate 8 is started together with alarming sound and the liquid crystal display panel 10 appears to display schedule information. Then the shutter plate 8 is rotated at fixed rate and the display window 7a is entirely closed after a period of 30 minutes elapses. |
