PURPOSE:To avoid such inconveniences as expiration of the palatable period of purchased food, double-purchase by performing the stock control in a refrigerator by the use of bar codes provided in the food and outputting the result to an outputting means. CONSTITUTION:Bar codes provided on food stored in a refrigerator are read by a bar code reading means 4 such as a bar code reader. The weight of the food is measured by a measuring means 5. The data is respectively input to a stock control means 6 provided with a computing means 7 and a data storing means 8. The stock control means 6 performs the stock control based on the input data and outputs the result to an output display means 1. In the stock control, what food is stored in the refrigerator and in which number of shelves the food is stored are displayed. The change in grams or the quantity used are controlled based on information inputted through the operating keys 17 or information from a weighing meter 14 to recognize the change of quantity. An automatic call of palatable period, an alarm sound of a palatable period of canned food or a blinking display of a designated day of calendar are carried out. |
