A diagonally braced railway truck is provided wherein cast supports extend downwardly from an angled section of the lower tension member of the railway truck sideframe. Such supports form a bracket to receive a plate therein. Such plate has a central opening into which the diagonal support is received. The plate is usually held to the flange by welding. |
