PURPOSE:To enable a photoelectric conversion thin film to be applied to a photodiode array, a photosensor array, or the like of high function and high integration by a method wherein a domain structure is provided to a photoelectric conversion section of specific material. CONSTITUTION:Monomolecular films which contain porphyrin derivative represented by formula I or formula II and matrix molecules are cumulated on a conductive substrate. The porphyrin derivative forms domain structures, and the domain structures are separated from each other by a region formed of matrix molecules. In the formulas, Ar denotes an aromatic hydrocarbon group which may be provided with a substituting group, R is an alkyl group which is 1-30 in number of carbons, M denotes a vivalent negative ion mainly composed of metal atoms, and X is a negative ion group. |
