Automatic storage magazine including a plurality of parallel bays, on either side of which are arranged superposed rows of compartments, cells for storing products. The supply of products to a predetermined storage level and their transfer along the bays is effected by means of means comprising: - a single elevator assembly (8) serving all the storage bays and which can be displaced orthogonally and at the end of the latter; - a plurality of independent assemblies (9) displacing the products along the said bays and positioning them inside (or removing them from) storage zones. <IMAGE>
