<p>PURPOSE:To transmit the presence and absence of mounted article and the shape of the bottom face of the article to a host device as data by covering the surface of a substrate including at least pressure sensitive sensors with an insulating material having a pressure transmissivity in order to prepare a mat. CONSTITUTION:This sensor is equipped with a substrate 2, plural pressure sensitive sensors 7 (an electrode 21, and a pressure sensitive electrically conductive rubber) arranged like a matrix on a substrate 2, data processing means which defines the detected result of the pressure sensitive sensors 7 as the data of a prescribed format, and a communicating means which transmits the prepared data to the host device. Also, a mat 1 is prepared by covering the surface of the substrate 2 including at least the pressure sensitive sensors 7 with an insulating material 3 having the pressure transmissivity. Therefore, when the article or the like is mounted on the mat 1, the pressurizing force by the article is detected by the pressure sensitive sensors 7 corre sponding to the bottom face of the article, converted into the data of the prescribed format, and transmitted to the host device. Thus, the mat sensor 1 which can detect the presence and absence of the mounted article, and the shape of the bottom face of the mounted article, can be obtained.</p> |
