A shielded analysis line, comprising a number of analysis boxes (10) connected by passages (12) and equipped with a biological protection (14) is produced in modular fashion from standardised components. Such a structure considerably reduces the costs of design and construction of a new line and greatly facilitates the maintenance and the conversion of the existing lines. The standardised components include especially the analysis boxes (10), the constituent components of the biological protection (14), the frameworks (78) associated with the boxes, the components of connection between the boxes, in which the passages (12) are formed, control desks (138,144), analysis components associated with each of the boxes and fluid delivery and outlet conduits. <IMAGE>
