摘要 PURPOSE:To minimize the processing performance decline of a microprogram controller and, at the same time, to prevent the reoccurrence of an one-bit error by actuating the process of a lower-priority microprogram after performing error correction only when the one-bit error occurs. CONSTITUTION:When an error detection circuit 5 makes one-bit error detection, an inversion circuit 2 inverts an error bit and a microprogram instruction is immediately executed after a selector 3 selects the inverted output 201 and again sets the output 201 in a microprogram readout register 4. Then an error correction deducing generation circuit 10 generates an error correction deducing address 1001 when no process to be executed exists. The address 1001 is selected by a selector 7 and an error correcting microprogram is started. Therefore, the reoccurrence of an one-bit error is eliminated against a correctable error. In addition, when the execution priority of the error correcting program is set at the lowest level, the influence of the microprogram to other ordinary processes is minimized.
