PURPOSE:To perform highly accurate quantification within a short time and to use a polymer membrane for a long time by using the polymer membrane consisting of 24 - 30 wt.% of polyvinyl chloride, 75 - 60 wt.% of a plasticizer and 1 - 6 wt.% of a quaternary ammonium salt represented by a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:A mixture consisting of polyvinyl chloride, a plasticizer and a quaternary ammonium salt is dissolved in an org. solvent of a 20 - 100 - time amount (wt. basis) and this solution is received in the glass ring having an inner diameter of 20 - 40 mm placed on a glass plate and the solvent is evaported to obtained a polymer membrane for an ion selective electrode. By the way, the quaternary ammonium salt is represented by formula (wherein two or more groups ammong alkyl groups are a 12 - 18c higher alkyl group). |
