<p>PURPOSE:To enable a burden on a central processing unit to be lightened by a method wherein processes such as change of a block, transfer of a data to a latch circuit from a storage means, etc., are performed inside a printer head. CONSTITUTION:A printing data and a clock pulse are inputted from a central processing unit 02. The block pulse of one block content is counted with a counter C1, and a clock detection signal is generated. The data of a shift register 4 is transferred to a latch circuit 6 by the block detection signal and at the same time an input direction to the shift register 4 is reversed for each block by a DFF 8. Further, after one clock pulse has elapsed, a strobe signal is emitted from a block detection signal, and the printing data is sent to a path line via gates A0-A62 by this signal. The block detection signal is inputted to a counter C2 to count a number of blocks. The clock is selected with decoders D1-D3 by a block selective signal based thereon, and a transistor array 20 is driven.</p> |
