PURPOSE:To build up a communication system with high reliability by setting a special terminal equipment to at least part of centers and allowing other center using a destination terminal equipment as the special terminal equipment to send a text to the destination terminal equipment when the transmission from the center using the destination terminal equipment as a control terminal equipment is disabled. CONSTITUTION:A text from a terminal equipment A and received by a center #1 is transferred to centers #2, #3 and when a line between the centers #2 and #3 is faulty, since a center number 01 is registered in a user ID table 20 corresponding to the caller terminal equipment A in the center #2, the center #2 informs a line fault to the center #1. A direct transmission function to a destination terminal equipment B on the user ID table 20 of the center #1 is sent to be 'in existence'. Then a telephone number of the destination terminal equipment B is read directly from a transmission table 22 and the destination terminal equipment B is dialed and the text is sent thereto and the result is reported to the caller terminal equipment A. |
