PURPOSE:To prevent the overlap of confirmation signals and link requests by giving time lags to the transmitting timing of the confirmation signals and link requests from plural master telephone sets when a link request is transmitted from a slave telephone set or a call is made from an extension telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When a slave telephone set 12 is operated for making a call to another slave telephone set 11, extension telephone set 4, etc., a link request is transmitted from the telephone set 12. A master telephone set 21 transmits a confirmation signal after fixed time t1 has elapsed from the reception of the request. Another master telephone set 22 transmits a confirmation signal after fixed time t2 (>t1) has elapsed from the reception of the request. Since the telephone set 12 receives the confirmation from the telephone set 21 prior to the confirmation signal from the telephone set 22, the slave telephone set l, is linked to the master telephone section 21 and the confirmation signal from the telephone set 22 is neglected. Therefore, the confirmation signal from the telephone set 21 does not overlap with the confirmation signal from the telephone set 22. |
