PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the amount of deformation of a transfusion liquid container having a stopper body at sterilization by laying the transfusion liquid container with its shell portion placed on a supporting face, and heating a neck portion while supporting the same from the supporting face located just below the same, the stopper body taking such a form that when the transfusion liquid container is laid flat with its shell portion placed on the supporting face the lowermost end of the stopper body when the stopper body is laid with one side down makes contact with the supporting face located just below the stopper body. CONSTITUTION:A stopper body 4 is in such a form that when a trarmsfusion liquid container 1 is laid with its shell portion 2 placed on a sterilized tray 5 serving as a supporting face the outer peripheral portion of a stopper body flange 4a which is the lowermost end-of the stopper body 4 when the body 4 is laid with one side down makes contact with the sterilized tray 5 located just below the stopper body 4. The shell portion 2 of the transfusion liquid container 1 having the stopper body 4 is placed on the sterilized tray 5 and a neck portion 3 is heated while being supported from the sterilized tray 5 just below the neck portion 3. The stopper body 4 fitted into the neck portion 3 is thus supported from below, so preventing deformation of the container. |
