PURPOSE:To install an air conditioner without reducing a floor area by using an outer casing for an air conditioner as a partition which separates a room from a corridor and setting the interior of the casing for the air conditioner as a housing section which houses air conditioning equipment. CONSTITUTION:A side wall 2 in a casing which serves as an inner wall of a partitioning wall which separates a room from a corridor and a side wall 3 outside the casing which serves as an outer wall, are installed wherein both the side wall 2 inside the casing and the side wall 3 outside the casing form an air conditioner casing 1 as an equipment housing member. At the same time, one side of the air conditioner casing 1 is arranged to face the corridor, which obviates the need to install an air conditioning chamber. Therefore, this construction makes it possible to install the air conditioner without reducing the floor area used for offices or the like and provide enhanced maintenance. |
