摘要	Pulses are produced in a liq. or gas in a tube of elastomeric material. The wall of the tube contains magnetic particles and it is surrounded by electromagnetic driving stages which are controlled to be repeatedly activated to produce peristaltic motion in the fluid without requiring a pressure drop. The tube can be of multilayer polyurethane and the magnetoelastic division rings can have different radii when at rest. The tube can be curved and the pulses can have an axial component. Pref. tube is surrounded by sections (2) along its length. Each section has stators with a left half (10) with eight poles (11).
