The invention relates to a telescopic device of variable length with instantaneous simultaneous adjustment and immobilisation, for operations of supporting, holding or suspending and for use as a workstand and as a portable handle for operations at a height. It consists of a cylindrical tube (1) exhibiting three concave flutes (10) and six columns of recesses (11) along its length, which slides in two rigid sleeve tubes (2) (3) including, at one end, six internal lugs (17) superimposed in pairs at 120 degrees from one another, securing the assembly by rotation and immobilisation in their respective recesses for use with the fitting of support hooks and link rods (6) a work surface (8) and tooling, as a stationary installation between two levels, on a base (4) with possible bracing, on a tripod (5) with removable or retractable castors, and as a portable handle; a set of extension pieces makes it possible to increase its reach; the combination of several devices allows operation in slanting locations. <IMAGE> |
