The applicator for mascara to eyelashes consists of a housing (1, 2) at the front end of which is an aperture (17) over which a closure (15) can be fitted. The closure is attached to the housing so that it cannot be lost. It can be movable between a closed position in which it works in conjunction with a sealing part (11), shutting off the interior of the housing from the environment, and an open position. The rotary axis (16) of the closure part runs vertically to the longitudinal axis (4') of the applicator (4, 6) at the front end of the housing, and the sealing part is stationary in the housing. USE - To apply mascara to eyeleashes.
