摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption and to prevent the rise of a temp. inside a machine by automatically turning off a polygon motor after a microcomputer detects that energization is started or a printing action is finished and a recording sheet is ejected outside the machine, and then, a fixed time lapses. CONSTITUTION:In a section A, a power source is tuned on, simultaneously, the polygon motor and a heater are energized, printing is ready, and a normal utilization state is displayed. When the printing is finished, the section B of the fixed time is obtained. When a printing command is issued at the section B, returning to the normal utilization state of the section A is carried out. When the printing command is not issued at the section B, a section C is obtained, the polygon motor is stopped, and the temp. of the heater drops up to the temp. set in advance, to carry out stand-by as a preheating mode. Thus, as a device, an energizing state is obtained, but when it is not used, the polygon motor is automatically stopped after it is used and the fixed time lapses, so that the life of the polygon motor is prolonged, power is saved and the rise of the temp. inside the machine can be prevented.
