<p>PURPOSE:To improve stability and reliability in a carrier for carrying paper sheets or sheet-like substances, such as a copying machine, by providing a paper discharge roller, paper discharge driven roller, and a shaft having a hollow cylindrical weight at the rotational center of the paper discharge driven roller. CONSTITUTION:A paper discharge roller 1 is integratedly fixed to a paper discharge roller shaft 5. A paper discharge roller drive gear 2 is integratedly fixed on the paper discharge roller shaft 5, and meshed with a drive force transmitting gear to thus rotate the paper discharge roller 1. A paper discharge driven roller 3 is located at such a position as to hold a hollow cylindrical weight 4, and has a paper discharge driven roller shaft passing through the axial center thereof. The paper discharge roller shaft 6 is supported by a supporting member and the paper discharge driven roller 3 is pushed on the paper discharge roller 3 with its dead weight added with the weight 4 and the weight of the paper discharge roller shaft 6. A paper sheet is positioned between the paper discharge roller 1 and paper discharge driven roller 3, and is carried by the frictional force of the paper discharge roller 1 and the weight of the paper discharge driven roller 3.</p> |
