The electrical generator is a floating vertical rotor alternator with movable inductor (inductance element) and fixed armature whose conventional frictional rings for connecting to the excitation current are replaced by an axial collector with concentric frictional rings, the rotor mass being supported on a suspension point which is located beneath the centre of gravity but in the same vertical, retaining equilibrium, the rotor being displaced vertically between the bearings which are fixed only to the stator, the rotor remaining floating, a turbine being coupled directly to the shaft above the point of suspension, and its operation is based on the rotation dynamics of a solid about its axis. Application to the turbine of a couple system would give rise to racing (run-up), but by controlling its revolutions it would generate electrical energy practically without cost to towns and cities, housing developments, buildings, houses and for automotive purposes, eliminating high- voltage lines. <IMAGE>
