COLOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To diversify displaying by constituting the above device in such a manner that the colored and transmitted light from a 1st liquid display element is selected to its color or the complementary color thereof by the impression/ shut of a display signal to a 1st liquid crystal display element. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted by including the 1st liquid crystal display element 22 for color display and the 2nd liquid crystal display element 23 for compensation. A 1st driving means 41 selects the transmitted light to one of plural colors by impression/shutting off the display signal to the transparent electrodes of the 1st liquid crystal display element 22. A 2nd driving means 40 selects the colored and transmitted light from the 1st liquid crystal display element 22 to one of the above-mentioned plural colors or the complementary color thereof by impressing/shutting off the 2nd display signal to the 2nd liquid crystal display element 23. The diversification of the display is additionally expanded in this way.
