PURPOSE:To make a color printer compact without occurrence of color deviation by increasing the pressing force for a capstan of a pinch roller with a biasing force of a spring, holding with pressure a recording paper by the pinch roller and capstan so as to convey the paper by the rotation of the capstan. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper 21 is guided between a capstan 45 and a pinch roller 46. With a movement of a link 62, the biasing force of a spring 68 in the direction of an axis 61 with respect to a link 63 increases, so that a pressing force of the pinch roller 46 to the capstan 45 increases. The recording paper 21 is held between the pinch roller 46 and the capstan 45. The capstan 45 rotates reversely so as to return the recording paper 21 to a supply side by a fixed quantity, so as to take out a head of print starting position. A head lever 38 further rotates so as to stick a thermal head 34 to a platen roller 32 through an ink sheet 41 and the recording paper 21. When the capstan 45 rotates normally, the thermal head 34 is energized so as to start a printing. |
