<p>This voltage control apparatus produces distortionless, stabilized alternating output voltage subject to distortion. The apparatus comprises a wave form reshaping circuit or low pass filter (230) connected to the voltage output (350) for energizing a load, and an internal reference voltage generator (310) amplitude stabilized and synchronized with a source of sinusoidal AC line voltage (10). An error detector (230) generates error pulses which are applied to a controller (270) to generate control pulses. The control pulses are combined with the amplified reshaped input voltage to produce the stabilized, distortionless voltage output (350). An overcurrent sensor (250) applies signals to the controller (270) to cut off the voltage output (350) when the load draws excessive current. The reference voltage generator (310) can be adjustable to vary the amplitude of the alternating voltage output (350).</p> |
