<p>Tile pieces (1, 7 and 8) used as a material for finishing inner and outer wall surfaces and floor surface of a building. These pieces (1, 7 and 8) are formed of lightweight thin plate members (2, 71 and 81), each of which is provided at the outer peripheral end faces thereof (21 - 24, 82) with a plurality of projections (31 - 33, 83) extending outwardly; i.e. anchors. These projections (31 - 33, 83) are formed at positions which do not cause adjoining tile pieces to interfere with each other when the tile pieces (1, 7 and 8) are laid on the wall or floor surface, and can be inserted under the rear surfaces (2a) of the adjoining tile pieces (1, 7 and 8). These projections (31 - 33, 83) function as allowances for mounting or joining or anchors to the wall surfaces. Consequently, the tile pieces (1, 7 and 8) are firmly secured to a wall surface (5) and the like, thereby hardly posing the possibility of peeling or falling off of the tile pieces.</p> |
