A multipurpose power generating apparatus is provided to be applied to a bicycle, a sky cycle, and a home wind generator by increasing transmitted power according to purposes. A main frame(10) is formed horizontally long. A fixing part(12) is formed at front and rear ends of the main frame. A crank shaft(13) is installed in the fixing part. A first lever(30) is fixed to one side of the upper end of a rotary member, and a second lever(30') is installed opposite to the first lever. First and second support frames(40,41) face each other in the vicinity of the lower part of the main frame. A first sub frame(43) is integrally formed at one end of the first support frame and the main frame. A fixed frame(42) is integrally installed between the first and second frames. First and second fixed shafts(40a,41a) are protrusively installed at the first and second frames. A third fixed shaft(42b) and a movable shaft(42c) are installed at the fixed frame to face each other. A first pulley(60) is rotatably fixed to the first fixed shaft, and a second pulley is rotatably installed in the movable shaft. A rotary pulley(80) is rotated together with the crank shaft. A spring(S) returns the moving shaft to the initial state.
