PURPOSE:To allow reliably ignite collected particle in such a way that an inflow path and an outflow path of exhaust gas to a filter member are comparted, and a heating means is installed at the end of the upstream side of the filter member. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical filter member 5 is housed in a cylindrical vessel 4, and the filter member 5 is resiliently held by a wire net 41 and a seal member 42. A separating plate 7 is installed on the exhaust gas inflow side of the vessel 4, and the exhaust gas flow path to the filter member 5 is divided into a first flow path 40a and a second flow path 40b. A change-over valve is pivotally supported to be able to be turned at the tip position of the separating plate 7. Nickel-chrome wire heaters 6a, 6b are respectively provided in each flow path area at the end of the upstream side of the filter member 5. |
