PORTABLE VIDEO DISPLAY UNIT

PURPOSE: A portable video display unit is provided to convert data which are transmitted from a computer in an HMD(Head Mount Display) method in order to display a character, an image and a moving picture. CONSTITUTION: A control unit in a portable video display unit is comprised of an FPGA(Field Programmable logic Gate Array)(25), a video memory(26), a regeneration/storage part(29), a voice processing part(23), and a CPU(20). The FPGA(25) is to implement a digital circuit to realize a function to transmit and receive data through a communication port(11), to process image data, sound data and text data through an operation key or a keypad port(15) and to drive a display unit(28) and a mirror unit. The video memory(26) temporarily stores and rapidly processes moving pictures. The regeneration/storage part(29) regenerates and/or stores images and sounds. The voice processing part(23) separates and processes sound data.
