The ski boot comprises an upper with sole and protrusions at the ends for engagement by the binding. Connecting components (5a,5b) are provided between the protrusions and the upper (1). The latter is spring-mounted in relation to the protrusions via elastic components (3,5a,5b), so as to give a shock-load-damping effect. Adjusting components (7,7a) can be provided for the spring characteristics. ADVANTAGE - Reduces shock and vibration acting on skiers feet.
