PURPOSE:To obtain an image having a high density, stabilization and simultaneously the excellent reproducibility of especially halftone by coaxially providing a permanent magnet member inside a sleeve in a non- rotating state, supplying toner to the surface of an image carrier via the sleeve, and developing an electrostatic charge image formed on the surface of the image carrier. CONSTITUTION:The permanent magnet member 3a is fixed so that, for instance, a fixed N-pole out of plural magnetic poles faces a photosensitive body 5, and only the sleeve 4a is rotatively formed. By this constitution, when the sleeve 4a is rotated, a fiber 7 and the toner 2a rub each other, and the toner 2a is electrostatically charged to a prescribed polarity, so that the fiber 7 electrostatically carries the toner 2a and forms a blush on a developing region. The surface of the image carrier is rubbed by this brush and the electrostatically charged image is developed. Thus, the degradation of image quality caused by the sticking of a carrier is completely resolved, and a high-definition image having the high density in the image quality and the excellent reproducibility of the halftone is obtained. |
