<p>PURPOSE:To observe the state of a blind area and to easily discriminate whether a bone and gas, etc., exist or not by dividing a vibrator into plural partial vibrators, emitting a weak ultrasonic wave from each partial vibrator, detecting its reflected wave at every partial vibrator and displaying it. CONSTITUTION:A concave vibrator 1 is subjected to duodecimpartite (a1, a2,... a12), for instance, in the ring of an outside, and also, to octopartite (b1, b2... b8) in the ring of an inside equally and divided into 20 in all. A controller 22 is set to a small output mode, respective partial vibrators a1-b8 are driven by respective pulsers 15, and a weak ultrasonic pulse is emitted from respective partial vibrators a1-a8. A reflected ultrasonic output received from a living body by respective partial vibrators a1-b8 is added and processed by an addition processing circuit 23, and outputted to a monitor 21 through a DSC 20. In such a manner, a calculus 7 is displayed on a monitor 21, and a reflection from the calculus 7 can be confirmed.</p> |
