A bearer frame (1) accommodates the individual valves (2) arranged in rows. Each valve comprises a body, at the lower end of which is a controlled feed aperture (4) from which flow medium in droplets or strokes is emitted under electronic control on to an object, e.g. a moving paper strip. Supply of medium to the applicator head is via a feed connection (5), and control of its function is via electrical connections (6,6'). The dimensions of the individual valves is approximately 28 mm long x 14 mm wide x 45 mm high, and each of them is fitted with an adjustment screw. Pref. two rows of valves are incorporated, parallel to one another, with the feed apertures (4) spaced apart. USE - For the application of adhesive, hot or cold, paint, lacquer or varnish.
