PURPOSE:To change transmission range even at the time of a fault by providing a clutch mechanism for connecting/disconnecting an output member connected to a transmission operating part to an actuator output part and a transmission route switching mechanism for disconnecting the clutch mechanism by an auxiliary shift lever connected to an auxiliary output member and engaging the output member with the auxiliary output member. CONSTITUTION:At the time of normal operation, a main shift lever 2 is operated to ON-operate a desired switch 19, whereby a drive signal according to the transmission signal of a switch unit 18 is outputted from a control part 13, and a transmission switching lever is rotated through an output lever 5 and a wire 6 by an electric motor 28 to change the range of an automatic transmission 7. At the time of abnormality such as disconnection, an auxiliary shift lever 9 is operated to disconnect the output lever 5 from the output shaft 4 and engage the output lever 5 with an auxiliary output lever 11 by a transmission route switching mechanism, and the auxiliary lever 9 is connected to a change lever 8 through the wire 6, the auxiliary output lever 11 and the output lever 5, whereby transmission range can be forcedly switched by the operation of the auxiliary shift lever 9. |
