PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium having good peeling property from a stamper and good adhesion property between a substrate and a rugged pattern layer to which signals are transferred, by providing a base coating layer comprising a hardening-type phosphazene compd. between the substrate and the layer to which signals are transferred. CONSTITUTION:A base coating layer 2 is formed on a glass or plastic substrate 1 to improve adhesion property, on which a signal transfer layer 3 is formed to transfer signals from a stamper. The base coating layer 2 essentially consists of a hardening-type phosphazene compd. and shows excellent characteristics as a base coating layer such as good adhesion property with the substrate 1, small shrinkage when hardened, and excellent transparency and heat resistance. On this base coating layer 2, for example, a UV-curing resin is dropped in a doughnut-like area, pressed with a stamper to be extended with uniform thickness, and hardened with irradiation of UV ray from the substrate side. Thus, the rugged pattern layer 3 having transferred signals is formed. Thereby, adhesion between the substrate 1 and the layer 3 is improved, which largely improves durability of the medium. |
