The driven shafts (21, 22) of the differential unit, viewed in the axial direction of the engine`s driven shafts (3), are installed between the engine (2) and secondary cone pulley (12). The imaginary connecting line between the rotational axis of the differential`s driven shafts (21, 22) and rotational axis of the primary cone pulley (II) on one side, and between the rotational axis of the differential`s driven shafts and rotational axis of the secondary cone pulley (12) on the other side, include an angle of 60-95 deg. between them, preferably in the region of 75 deg. ADVANTAGE - The power plant can be installed in small as well as large vehicles.
