PURPOSE:To easily prepare a deodorant, by a method wherein a microwave is allowed to irradiate iron or iron oxide and L-ascorbic acid so as to avoid sudden reaction or sudden rising in temp. and, thereafter, the whole is expanded by repeating stirring to be brought to a sponge like state before quenched. CONSTITUTION:An iron powder and an L-ascorbic acid powder are put in a glass container in a volume ratio of 1:1.5-2.0 to be mixed under stirring and the resulting mixture introduced into a microwave oven to be heated by high frequency waves (hereinbelow referred to as a microwave) due to a magnetron. The first heating time is set to 25-30sec and the irradiation with the microwave is once stopped. Said mixture is again introduced into the microwave oven and irradiated with the microwave for 20sec. After stirring, the irradiation with the mircrowave within 15sec is further repeated in order to avoid sudden reaction and sudden rising in temp. The temp. of the whole is raised and L- ascorbic acid begins to melt and, when blackening begins to start, irradiation is stopped to perform stirring. Further, the microwave is again allowed to irradiate to expand the whole into a sponge like state and, thereafter, the whole is quenched, cured and molded. |
