PURPOSE:To attain effective utilization of a memory storage area by receiving a preset station by up/down channel selection and avoiding duplicate storage of a data relating to the preset station. CONSTITUTION:In the case of channel selection by up/down sweep command buttons 15u, 15d, when an RDS broadcast wave is received, a PI data obtained from the RDS broadcast wave and a PI data of a preset station are compared. When they are coincident, a channel number of the preset station corresponding to the PI data is displayed on a display section 18. Thus, since it is informed to the user that the receiving station is the preset station, duplicate storage of the data relating to a same network station into a memory 14 is avoided and the storage area of the memory 14 is always utilized effectively. |
