PURPOSE:To use an emulator for almost all of devices having read only memories ROMs by providing an interface part for external storage device, a connector part which can be replaced with a ROM, and a signal line selecting circuit which selectively supplies taken-in data, program, or the like to the connector part. CONSTITUTION:An external storage device interface part 2 is the control part to take out a file of required programs from an external storage device 1, and a main control circuit part 3 controls matching of a bus between a memory part 10 and an information processor, development of the program read from the external storage device 1 on the memory part 10, and output of the program from a connector part 11 to the information processor in accordance with the number of pins and pin assignment of the ROM emulated by this emulator. A signal line selecting circuit 7 selects a signal line to distribute the signal from a signal control circuit 5 by this control. Thus, the emulator can be used for almost all devices if they have ROMs. |
